Spring might be here
Maryland is an odd place. It’s position just south of the Mason-Dixon line with simultaneous ties to northeastern culture exemplifies how mixed it in is in culture for one but in climate for another. I can only hope this is the true spring. What i found today was as good an indicator as any in a freshly budding tree just down the street from where I live. Just a few days ago I marveled at how lush and robust the flowering foliage was and I return to find a canopy buzzing with excitement. Sitting under the tree, I initially felt something akin to a plane overhead before realizing that low hum, that vibration was a litany of bees forming a sonic umbrella over me. It’s definitely unnerving to be around. I managed to get a few shots without being stung.
